Melissa Alexander
Funeral Director
Melissa Alexander attended Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH and is a graduate of Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, AMS/BMS. She has been licensed for over 10 years working in Ohio, Illinois and Maryland. She moved to the Washington DC area in 2007 and began her career with Stewart Enterprises working at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home. She currently works for Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home.

Louise Basso-Luca
Receptionist
Louise is a 1989 Liberal Arts Graduate from Catholic University. She has been with Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home for over 8 years. She enjoys the many aspects of the job, both telephone and some computer work. She also enjoys meeting a diverse clientele due to the central location of Hines-Rinaldi. Louise also enjoys spending time with her teenage daughter, watching movies and going to the gym.

Dwaine Butler
Maintenance Porter/ Funeral Assistant
Dwaine has been with Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home for over 4 years. He takes the utmost pride in maintaining the spacious funeral home as the appearance of our building and vehicles are of high importance. He enjoys assisting the families in their time of need. Dwaine's passions outside of work lie in his collection of classic cars and his children.

Community Outreach
John Chaplin, CFSP (wife Catherine) of Laytonsville, MD, a licensed Mortician, Certified Funeral Service Practitioner. He has an AA degree and mortuary science degree, Magna Cum Laude from the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in NY. Active in the Bethesda Chevy Chase Rotary Club & Chamber, Montgomery Hospice, Academy of Professional F. S. P., National Funeral Directors Assn. & Bethesda Presbyterian Church.

James "Jim" Denham
Preneed Counselor/Funeral Director
Jim is a lifelong resident of Silver Spring, Maryland. He attended Montgomery Junior College and Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He became a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in 1968 & he has served the community in all areas of funeral service. Now licensed as an agent for Forethought Preneed Insurance, specializing in pre need arrangements, he has entered another facet to serve the community.

Alan Donnell
Operations Supervisor
Alan Donnell has been with Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home for 30 years. He is a licensed Funeral Director and also serves as our Operations Supervisor. We are pleased to have such a knowledgeable member of our staff.

Ascia Durant
Funeral Apprentice
Ascia joined our family in 2011. She is currently attending Catonsville Community College where she is pursuing Mortuary Science. Ascia currently is serving as a Funeral Apprentice, and looks forward to assisting families in the capacity of Funeral Director during their time of bereavement. She likes spending time with family and listening to music.

Katrina Ferguson
Funeral Director
Katrina obtained her Funeral Service Certification in Mortuary Science from Norfolk State University in 2006. She is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. She has worked at the Hines Rinaldi Funeral Home since January 2011. Katrina thoroughly enjoys all aspects of funeral service.

Neva FinGado
Supervising Mortician/Funeral Home Manager
Neva obtained her A.S.B. degree from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and her B.S. in Funeral Service Management from Point Park College in Pittsburgh, PA. She is licensed to practice funeral service in MD, PA, VA and DC. Neva joined the company in 2006 and is active in the Chamber of Commerce, Montgomery Hospice and her church, All Saints’ Church, where she serves as a Eucharistic Minister.

Robin Gasiorowski
Administrative Assistant
Robin has been with the company for over 29 years. Approximately 19 of those years she worked with various cemeteries, Central Processing Centers, & as a Regional Trainer. Robin loves spending time with her family, friends, & congregation. Her joys are baking, enjoying nature, and teaching Bible Students on a volunteer basis.

Gary Gise
Preparation Supervisor
Gary M. Gise has been in the Funeral Industry since 1983 and has been with the company since October 2005. He received his Certificate of Proficiency in Mortuary Science from Catonsville Community College in 1985. He currently serves as the Preparation Supervisor at Hines-Rinaldi and holds a Funeral Directors license in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Tom Gunzenhauser
Funeral Support
Thomas Gunzenhauser has been with Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home for over 5 years. Graduated from Northern Virginia Community College with an Associate in Food Service Management/Nutrition. He enjoys involvement in the administrative portion as well as service to the Funeral Directors. The hobby of his life is spending time doing Genealogy on his family.

Sherri Johnson Wilkins
Funeral Director
Sherri obtained her Associates Degree in Mortuary Science from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and attended Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. She is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. She enjoys the diversity this Funeral Home serves and is eager to learn about all cultures and traditions. In her spare time she enjoys ice skating, field hockey, golf and spending time with her family.

Michele Vetula
Funeral Director
Michele earned her Associate Degree in Mortuary Science from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. She went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science Degree in Specialized Professional Studies in Funeral Service from Point Park University, Pittsburgh, PA. She has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer for 12 years and has been with Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home since March of 2009.

Anne Marie Warner (Hutzenbiler)
Funeral Director
Anne Marie holds an Associate of Mortuary Science Degree from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. She is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. She has worked in Washington, DC metropolitan area funeral homes since 1986 and accepted her position at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home in 2010. Anne Marie also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Ecology (Dietetics) from the University of Maryland.

Funeral Assistant
Christine earned both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Thanatology from Hood College. She has been with Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home for over a year and is currently enrolled at the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. She enjoys exploring the funerary practices of the diverse clientele we serve and assisting the families in their time of need.
